Last Tuesday evening of Tuesday 7th July was the evening of Fordingbridge Rotary’s President’s annual handover. Because of CoronaVirus, it all had to be done remotely, yet by hand. There was only a “Zoom” meeting, no person-to-person meetings, obviously.
So local biker, Peter Mouland, came along to the rescue: a knight in shining armour as it were, with his beautiful shiny sparkling Harley Davidson 1800 Herald Deluxe (pictured picking up the chain from the home of Paul Hammond, now past-President at Breamore.)
From there, the President’s chain was taken (by bike) to the new President’s house, Toni Butler, at Alderholt, where she received it, and handed over the Vice-Presidents chain to Pete so that he could take it back to Fordingbridge, where the new vice-President, Will Peak lives (picture 3)
